Now let’s look at how organic research works. All webmasters use Google search console and Google Analytics to see the performance of your own top pages. But if you want to see the competitor’s performance, using domain analytics is the best option. You can sort and filter the keywords by any parameter you want. You should keep in mind the terms volume and keyword difficulty.
Keyword volume means monthly average number of searches for a given term.
Keyword difficulty is an estimation of how hard it is to outrank your competitors when targeting for a certain organic keyword.
What are SEO Position changes?
Position changes report gives you deep knowledge about your competitors strategy. It displays the competitors new keywords as well as lost keywords over time. You will be able to see the keywords that they have improved their position for as well as the keywords that were not earning good traffic.
What are SEO Competitors?
There is a list of competitors in the report based on the common keywords and number of keywords used. There is also a competitive positioning map in which the X axis represents the number of keywords and Y axis reflects organic traffic volume. There is also a section for the number of common keywords if you want to see then you can view that section.
What are SEO Pages/Subdomains?
This is the different reports which consists of list pages. These are the competitors best-performing pages sorted by traffic share. You can see the keywords that a page ranks for by clicking on a keyword account.

When your competitor concentrates on promoting a certain URL in organic search, analyzing it could be more insightful than analyzing a domain as a whole. So you can select the URL option to find information on organic keywords, monthly traffic, and estimated traffic cost for a specific URL. This data will unveil your rival’s strategy regarding this URL. Like similar reports, this one allows you to apply various filters to refine your research.
